There is a ton of mis-information on this one. I even heard about a ‘financial planner’ advising a client to ‘sell now before the tax kicks in’. The truth is that MOST will not be affected by this tax. BTW, this tax is a part of the law many call ObamaCare.
I can tell you it is a good time to sell finally. Prices are still restricted by appraisals but buyers are scrambling for houses to buy with multiple offers happening on market priced listings. If you have been waiting to sell it might be the right time now to look at the facts on that too.
