That is the number that did not vote. Amazing. More than voted for Obama. More than voted for Romney (duh!!). A lot more. So why didn’t they vote? I would love to hear from you if you did not vote.
I have a theory but we’ll have to wait and see if I’m right. I’ll be doing some research and asking some questions but I have a suspicion they thought it didn’t matter.
I think it is reasonable to say 20% of the population will never vote. Pareto’s law applies but that means that 80% should always vote and it is clear they don’t . Why is that?
I’ll let you know what I find out.
One conversation I had today was interesting. I asked if she voted for Obama and the answer was ‘No, I voted against Romney’. Funny but I voted against Obama. I did not like Romney that much but I liked Obama less. How much better would it have been to vote for someone that I liked.
Maybe 90,000,000 agree with both of us. We needed a better choice.
