Char-Broil Grill – good job!!
I enjoy bragging on someone when they do a good job. Char-Broil just did that. I bought a grill a couple of weeks ago, put it together and used it once. I tried to use it again and the electronic igniter failed to work.
Being resourceful I used a match to light the grill and was able to eat but it was a little frustrating that my brand new grill was not working 100%.
Yesterday (Labor Day) I got out the book, found the serial number and receipt and filled out the online form asking for a new igniter module. I have to admit my expectations were low given the state of customer service in these times but I was hopeful.
Today I got an email asking me to scan in the receipt and upload it (or I could fax it) and almost the same instant I got that email my phone rang. It was a human being from Char-Broil asking me to verify the serial number. I verified it, uploaded the requested receipt and within 20 minutes I received an email telling me the part is on the way.
I am very pleased that I can say the service I received was excellent and I would recommend anyone to the company if they need a grill. That is the way it is supposed to work. Thanks for doing a great job, Char-Broil.
