Keep reading after the video. I have a commentary that has been rattling around in my head. I did not intend for it to come out this morning but it did. Check it out.
It never fails to amaze me what the government will do with our money. I am not poking fun at homelessness and that is a serious problem but is this the best way to fix it?? I guess it’s better than doing nothing but only slightly. Local government ought to be the avenue to work on things like this instead of the Dept of Housing and Urban Development in the central government of Washington DC.
If we keep going the way we are I suspect we’ll see the collapse of the Federal government. Some would compare us to Greece but I don’t think that’s accurate. Comparing Greece to California might be more appropriate as they are both independent states in financial trouble. The United States of America is made up of 50 independent states. If the Federal government collapses I suspect Georgia will protect her borders. We and all the other states have an elected State government, a leader (governor), a military (state guard) and a police force. Everyone I know wants to eat and sleep indoors and have food with their meals so the motive for a civilization will be intact.
I suspect we become 49 States and Texas (they’re leaving, I think).
In any event, I believe we as a people have the ability to make a difference and to help ourselves. It starts locally and grows from the bottom up, not from the top down.
I have decided that when I get to the point of yelling at the TV I will turn it off.
Very little news enters my brain from TV as it makes me dizzy looking at the spin. Some of it spins right, some of it left but it all spins.
Want to know what’s going on? Try reading Google News as a start. You get a different perspective on the events of the day when you read them from the BBC, Europe or Canadian news. The top stories are sourced from different parts of the world and the most interesting thing happens. The spin is less and you can begin to think for yourself instead of hearing them tell you what to think.
Alright, I got that off my chest. Now, back to work.
