Keller Williams Red Day in Buford and helping Sack Kids Hunger…
Every year Keller Williams Realty puts business on hold and focuses on our community. Our offices close, our agents block out the day and we help. Over the years I have been with KW we have done lots of projects to help but this one is one of the best I have seen.
Sack Kids Hunger is an outreach from Buford First United Methodist Church
From their website – “Sack Kids Hunger started in November/2010 in response to the needs of children who receive breakfast and lunch during the school week, but have limited resources on weekends. Every Saturday from noon to 2:00 pm, volunteers gather at the front steps of Buford First United Methodist Church to hand out sack lunches to children in our community.”

Our project this year is to build a permanent pavilion so they can distribute the lunches in any weather. We have a design, lots of volunteers and will be collecting food and other materials to help prepare the sack lunches for the weekend. We need materials (there is a specific list) and food (this is a list for that too) so if you want to help please call me (678-231-1578) and we’ll get together.
Drop by the church on 10 May if you want to visit and see what we’re doing. That is Red Day and we’ll be there.
