Left and Right are not enough

It’s complex. How we think. How we believe. What we do. It’s complicated. So is it reasonable to think we can quantify what we believe politically with a simple measure of left or right? I have come to believe it is not possible.

If fact, I think that it might be part of the problem. Polar opposites are sometimes unsolvable but are instead tensions we need to manage and trying to divide us by an ‘aisle’ as in Congress is more of a problem than we know.

To help quantify what we think, I did a search and found a tool. Check this out. My result is here if you want to see it.

I showed you mine. Wanna show me yours? Maybe it starts a thoughtful conversation instead of an argument. It’s worth a try. BTW, the first 2 that show me theirs will get a free copy of a book that I am giving away. It’s “How do you Kill 11 Million People?” by Andy Andrews. I have a limited number to give away so don’t wait if you’re interested.

Have a good time with the ‘test’ and see where you are on all this. Call me if you wanna schedule a time to talk. I would really enjoy that.
