Mo. You need to meet her!

Mo_Anderson(1)[1]

I was privileged today to talk with Mo Anderson. She is the Vice Chairman of the Board for Keller Williams Realty International. In the past I have been treated to private meetings with Mark Willis and Mary Tennant. You can check out their bios here.

Mo gave us an hour of her time on Monday to coach us as an Agent Leadership Council (ALC) and she has committed to doing it again. She is going to coach us as a team once a month for the next 3 months. I am stoked. That is just for the ALC members in my office. There are 9 of us. What a gift!

I first got to hear Mo speak at Family Reunion and I was just fascinated with her energy and commitment to the culture of KW. She is a real fire of integrity in this organization.

It’s been a good few days at KW. Last week I was invited to our ALC retreat where Bryan Fair, our operating partner had all 130 of us come to Chateau Elan for two days of encouragement and training to help us be better at our job as leaders and Realtors. It was a treat to have Bruce Hardie come and speak about his business and how he got to the 7th level. Bryan owns several offices and we came from around the area reaching from Florida, Georgia and South Carolina.

Bryan did a brief video on the market last year and the predictions are coming true. I saw the new numbers for 2012 and it was a lot better than we expected. Really good stuff.

ALC members are the top producers in the office. We have to be in the top 20% in sales to be invited to the ALC so to hang out with folks like that really bring you up in your game. Lots of great ideas, encouragement and referrals going around too.

So, I got to thinking about all that. I have been a part of Keller Williams for 10 years and I can safely say that there is no other company in the business that will do all this for their agents. Imagine that we got to spend an hour with the top of the leadership in the largest real estate company in the world, got to do it for free and will get to go it again in the coming months. The reason we do things like this is a culture of giving. ‘Give more than you get’ is just a way of life at KW.

KW teaches that our clients do business with us and not our company. We don’t spend money on advertising for the national brand but rather they focus on us. They work to make us better at what we do. We are a training and coaching company first and a real estate company second. It really is about us as agents and doing our best for our clients.

To top all this off I received a check this week too. Profit share is real, a gift and anyone can get it. It comes from the owners profit and it is freely shared with us because we contributed to the success of the company. This is a bonus for being a part of KW but it is not the reason we are here. It is misunderstood by many inside and outside our company so, if you’re interested, I can tell you how it works and how to make it work for you.

Money, time and energy. Encouragement, accountability and to see my team mates smile. Those are the gifts I was given over the last few days.  I love working with KW.

I would love to hear what you like about your company. KW or otherwise, call me and we’ll arrange a coffee.
