Stop Stealing Dreams

I just finished reading Seth Godin‘s Stop Stealing Dreams. He wrote this manifesto to start a conversation about our school systems in the USA. They were started to give employers a steady stream of compliant, obedient workers and to give marketers a stream of customers that want to buy stuff.

We needed that when all this started about 100 years ago but now we need people to be individuals, to stand out and to make a difference. To follow their dreams.

This is not limited to public schools or solved by home schooling.

Check it out and see if you can think of something to do that will make a difference. We need to make a difference for our kids and for ourselves. We can do this but it has to start with ‘us’ not with just ‘them’.

Thanks for listening,
