Strait of Hormuz
Ever wonder where the oil that passes through the Strait of Hormuz goes? Based on the news it sounds like it travels directly to the QT gas station around the corner from me. According to the news, if Iran blocks that Strait then gas and oil prices will double for me.
Check out what I found with ONE Google search. Seems that 85 percent of those crude oil exports went to Asian markets, with Japan, India, South Korea, and China representing the largest destinations.
Now everything is connected and if those countries can’t get oil via the Strait then they are going to buy it else where and it would drive pricing up but I just find it interesting that we are being led to believe it is oil coming to us. I think this is an instructive example of a lie of omission. Not telling the whole truth.
Maybe those countries ought to be more involved in keeping that route open along with the USS John C. Stennis. I’m just saying…
Thanks for listening,

PS. read Andy Andrews new book “How do you kill 11 Million People?” to see how much the truth matters.
