The buck stops here – The 1st of 7 decisions…

I have been reading a couple of books. It starts with the Travelers Gift by Andy Andrews and continues to Mastering the 7 Decisions.

The first decision we have to make is that ‘The Buck Stops Here’.

Susan got a mix cd from a friend for Christmas and on it was this song by Michael Jackson. The Man In the Mirror is a great song about accepting responsibility for where we are and making the changes necessary to make our lives better.

We are who we are, where we are because of the decisions we have made.

I have more to add as we move through the 6 other decisions but for now check out the video and realize that we are in charge of our lives. It does not matter where we started or even where we are right now. It matters what we do in the next 60 seconds. No other decision is more important that what we do next.

If we are where we are because of our decisions it is great news because if we don’t like where we are we can change where we are by future decisions. The next 60 seconds. Heck, the next 2-3 seconds. Stand up and take charge. Don’t be a victim.
