Tuesday Night Tunes, Prince, Board meetings and motorcycles…

Ok, let’s do this in order.

My son Mike sent me this with the following comment.

“This is from the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. Jeff Lynne from “ELO”, Steve Winwood, George Harrison’s son (who looks just like him), Tom Petty, and then Prince. It’s nothing special until Prince struts out and plays the coolest guitar solo I’ve seen in a long time. Prince might be a little weird but he’s got style.”

After watching this I think you’ll agree. Awesome version of a great song.

Next, I attended my first board meeting. I am now a member of the board for Special Needs Schools of Gwinnett. The school is located in Lawrenceville off of Hwy 20 and Davis Rd. Great location with about 50 students that are getting with they need to be the best they can be. It is awesome to be a part of the school and I am sure you’ll be hearing more as time goes on.

The last part of that headline is related to the school. We are hosting an escorted motorcycle ride on 14 Sept. You can sign up or just get more details at the website located here. All donations and profit goes directly to the school to help with the ongoing expenses and to begin to fund for the expansion. If you ride, you’re invited. If you don’t ride then you can come volunteer or maybe hitch a ride with a biker. No promises but you never know. It will be a great day!! Check it out.

The board meeting took the time I usually do Tuesday Night Tunes so this one is a bit shorter but I think the song is awesome and the school is too.
