Best Buy – Atlanta is No. 1

Ok, we all know house prices are down and interest rates are low. I tell people every day that we sold almost 5 million homes in the US last year and we are on track to do that again this year. I say we have the best affordability index ever and buying is usually cheaper than renting. I say it all the time and I know people believe me but it is kinda cool when I find out when some else says I’m right 🙂

Check out this article from Realtor.com for details but it says Atlanta is No. 1 in affordability when compared to renting a house. Check it out and call me if you or someone you know is ready to stop renting. There are deals out there for as little as $100 down on a HUD property, 3.5% down on FHA and 10% down on HomeSteps properties. There are bunches to choose from under $100K in Gwinnett County and surrounding areas.

You do NOT need perfect credit but you do have to prove you have a way to pay back the loan. Credit scores of 640 and up with a job should be enough. Call me and we’ll get you pre-qualified to make sure you can do it.

We are getting into the best time of the year for real estate and inventory should be climbing soon. Good houses move fast if they are priced to sell and in good shape. It’s a price war and a beauty contest out there.

We do have 2 markets right now. Foreclosures and Retail. If you want a project at a good price with potential for good equity then foreclosures can be a good value. If you want to move in and start living then Retail is still an excellent deal at very affordable payments. Call me and we’ll get started.

Thanks for listening,
