Got my motor running – Tuesday Night Tunes

I got a new bike. Well, it’s new to me. 1982 Yamaha XJ1100. I am the 3rd owner and it has been cared for it’s whole life. Great shape, great ride and even pretty good gas mileage. I think I got over 30 mpg once I switched to Premium.

I spent the day riding back from Charlotte, NC after a train ride up (Amtrak from Gainesville to Charlotte – $61) a short sleep in a hotel and a long ride back.

I swear this thing was singing to me as I headed out of Highlands down to Clayton.

This song was in my head part of the day.

Great ride to Highlands and then south to War Woman Rd into Clayton. A bit over 300 miles and I was smiling most of the way. Enjoy the song and expect a few more posts from the saddle. It was a great day with almost no distractions. Distractions can kill you on a bike and I still have a lot to do so I focused, rode and enjoyed it tremendously.

Trying turning off your distractions. Even for an hour and focus on one thing that is really important.

It will make your day too.

One more thing, if you found this on Facebook, Linkedin or Twitter, you are probably missing some of the articles. Subscribe over to the right and you’ll not miss a thing. I send out update emails on Wednesday so subscribe and stay in the loop.
