House Concert – Our first one

I am excited to tell you about our first house concert. It is coming on 1 Nov and you are welcome to come if we have any seats left. Jeff Black is coming to sing and I wanted to share one of his videos with you so you can get a taste of what’s coming.

That video is from the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville and I just read they have 90 seats. This concert is going to be in our home and we only have 30 seats so they might be gone already but don’t let that stop you from trying. I have a wait list set up and we will make sure the house is full. You just might get lucky.

This will be an intimate gathering as we host Jeff Black. He is a singer / songwriter who is coming and kick off our series. I got to hear Jeff for the first time at The Bowman House Concert Series and it was a perfect night. Here is a link to the blog I wrote about that night so you get a little back ground and hear a bit more of his music. It won’t be as good as live but you will get a taste.

A few things to know, we are starting at 7pm with a covered dish dinner (bring something to share), bring your own beverage of choice and $20 each for the artist. All the money goes to Jeff for coming out. Music will start at 8pm and run about 90 minutes total with a brief intermission. Bring a few extra bucks if you want a CD because Jeff will be selling and signing them. You’ll be out by 11pm at the latest even if you hang out a little while after and meet Jeff.

You won’t have to go home at 11 but you can’t stay here 🙂
