What is your profession?
I love this scene from The 300.
Are you as convinced as these soldiers of your profession? There is nothing wrong with being a potter or sculptor or blacksmith or real estate agent but I would say we need to be as convinced and proud as these soldiers are.
The difference is training but before that can work for us, it is our attitude. How is your attitude today?
I don’t know where you are but if you’re like me it changes. Sometimes it changes daily and it is related to everything I do. If I start my day in my email it can derail the best intentions I had to get something important done and instead I get sucked in the the ‘urgent’ vortex and I can’t get out.
Sometimes I work on the urgent so I don’t have to do the important. It’s a form of procrastination.
Enough of that. I am going to challenge you to write down 10 things, or 7 things or even just 3 things you love about what you do. What you get to do. Is it freedom to set your schedule? Opportunity to do things to help others? What is it?
Have a great Monday and set the stage for a great week.
Thanks for listening,
