The Pacific
I just finished watching The Pacific series that tells some of the story of WWII in the Pacific. I am humbled by the sacrifice the men and women made to fight such a war. My vocabulary is crippled and all I can say to the people who served in that war and all the others we have fought is “Thank you”. And to the men and women still serving in places like Afghanistan and Iraq and everywhere else “Thank you”. Without your sacrifice we would not have the country we enjoy and prosper in. Our streets are paved with gold and we are a blessed people. Never forget that. There is no place like this on earth.
