Tuesday Night Tunes – Livingston Taylor
I love music. I’ve been busy and this feature has put on the back burner until now. I’m back and I hope you enjoy this.
I was listening to this off us NoiseTrade and thought ‘he really sounds like James Taylor’. Well, he should. Livingston is James younger brother. His bio says his career spans 50 years, 13 albums and I am sorry it took me this long to find him.
Here is a video I found on YouTube where he was featured for a PBS special. It’s long and if you can’t watch it all now you can save it for later. I hope you find him as captivating as I do.
I’ll be checking to see if he’s coming to town but so far he’s not. I’ve watched this video and discovered he is an accomplished storyteller as well as a singer songwriter. It’s a lot like a house concert that you get to go to without leaving home.
Speaking of house concerts, we’re working on some new ones for our house too. Ben Glover has said he’d love to come see us. Right now Ben is in Europe and traveling wide to sing and play music. We’ll keep you posted on his schedule and when he might be able to get to us.
